Our staff is a team of professionally trained, highly skilled individuals who are committed to providing you or your child with personal orthodontic care. Assistants take time to explain each procedure as treatment progresses so patients have a full understanding of their orthodontic process. They participate in continuing education courses annually to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures.

We strive to maintain good communication between patients, their parents and referring doctors to achieve optimal orthodontic results. We want to keep you updated and informed throughout the treatment process. Your questions are always welcome.

Jodi
Orthodontic Assistant
Jodi is a certified dental assistant with nine years experience. A native of California, she worked in general dentistry for three years and has been in orthodontics for six. Jodi relocated to Texas in 1999.

She finds it rewarding to be a part of a process that enables others to smile confidently and is honored to work with an all-star team blended with many years of experience.

Jodi and her husband, Jim, have four children. They are both active in their church and love to travel.

Tricia
Treatment Coordinator
As a certified orthodontic assistant, Tricia McDaniel loves orthodontics and both the challenges and rewards the field brings.

After completing training at the Houston Dental Assistant School in 2002, Tricia worked as a dental assistant for a pediatric dental office. From there, she moved into the field of orthodontics.

She believes Dr. Lindsay is a great boss who always goes the extra mile for her patients and staff.

Tricia and her husband, Mark, juggle four busy kids along with their schedules and find their greatest pleasure doing just that.

Carolyn
Orthodontic Assistant
Carolyn graduated from the Houston Dental Assistant School in 1997. As a certified dental assistant, she brings twelve years of orthodontic experience to Dr. Lindsay’s team.

Carolyn offers each patient a bright smile and an encouraging conversation.

At home Carolyn has her hands full with her young daughter Jenna and in their spare time the family enjoys traveling, camping and riding their horses.

Maryann
Appointment Coordinator
Maryann has 16 years of medical and dental experience. She said each staff member in Dr. Lindsay’s office has a goal to help all patients achieve a beautiful smile and have fun in the process.

Maryann has a son, Cody. She enjoys reading and getting together with friends, when Jake and Tyson (dog & Cat) allow her the time.

Candy
Administrative Assistant
With over 30 years of experience in the medical and dental fields, Candy Palmer joined Dr. Lindsay’s team as a novice to orthodontics.

Candy feels lucky to be a part of an amazing team that is willing to share their knowledge and expertise. She believes Dr. Lindsay’s commitment to continued improvements gives the staff the opportunity to become one of the most well trained and motivated orthodontic teams in the community. Candy enjoys interacting with patients and watching them grow.

She and her husband, Tommy, both native Texans, have two daughters, one dog and three grandsons and will soon be blessed with their first granddaughter.

In their free time, the family enjoys watching the Food Network and spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes.

Kala
Financial Coordinator
Kala has over 10 years experience in the dental field. She is very knowledgeable in answering all insurance and flex account questions. Kala joined our team shortly after relocating to the Houston area with her husband Will. She is a native Texan and is grateful to find such a warm and welcoming office to work in. Kala and Will are kept busy with their adorable young son Drew and their 2 dogs Reggie and Jonah.

Brenda
Orthodontic Assistant
Brenda is a certified dental assistant with 15 years of orthodontic experience. She joined Dr. Lindsay’s staff after moving to Houston from Virginia. She feels very fortunate to have found such a warm and professional team to become a part of. She especially enjoys her interaction with her patients and watching them gain confidence as their smile improves. In her off time Brenda and her husband Obray enjoy their family time with daughter Jessica and her husband Aaron. They are also big movie buffs and try to catch all the new releases! When time allows they love to travel home to Virginia to see the mountains they miss so much.

Laurie
Treatment Coordinator
Laurie Vilano graduated from Astrodome Dental Assistant School in 1997. She is a certified dental assistant and brings 13 years of experience to our practice.

She enjoys her position and all that it brings. The interaction and building relationships with our patients is rewarding and priceless. Our treatment coordinator has fun in her position and when not with new patients she can be found helping through the office.

When not working, Laurie keeps busy with her three boys, Isaiah, Isaak and Ian. On her down time she really enjoys pampering herself.
